About Our Reactive Dog Training

A reactive dog overreacts to normal situations that other dogs would take in stride. They become overstimulated easily and may bark, lunge, and growl at something as simple as another dog or person walking on the other side of the street. Attention to training is extremely important, as reactivity can turn into aggression. The cause of reactivity is usually a lack of proper socialization, fear, or improper training.

If your dog is showing these types of issues, our training experts are here to help! First, we will identify triggers, and from there we can work on a training plan to mitigate your pup’s reactive behavior. Get started today!

Trainers are courteous, professional, and effective. In our experience, every session resulted in observable positive progress. So glad we decided to start our puppy early in training because its been incredibly helpful. Their program is worth it.

We are new to Sit Means Sit and just had our first lesson. Brent was so so kind to both Daisy and us, and I think we learned just as much as she did. It was a great experience and we are super excited for our next two sessions. Daisy seemed to have a great day and was comfortable right away. We couldn’t believe the progress after one session.
